Beulah Ralph was the first person I had to write a life story for. I was working the GA shift when we got word of her death. I recall being nervous when I had to call her family and friends, but they were gracious and more than helpful, even when an editor had me call back for a few more details. Afterward, I felt honored to have written about such an esteemed figure in the community and was glad I was able to share Mrs. Ralph’s life story.
